Now you are probably thinking, what is the big deal with Bridal Sessions and why should they be so important to me? Why should I spend the extra time, energy, or money on a Bridal session? Here are 5 excellent reasons why you should splurge on a Bridal Session.
1. It is an excellent time to try out the make-up and the dress together beforehand
Most Hair and Make-up Artist or HMUA will schedule a time before your big day to go over what type of hair and makeup you will be wearing. This is actually the best time to slip on that dress too! You are already dolled up, why not?
2. It gives personal time to just you, the Bride
During a typical wedding day, the couple get around 20 minutes to get all the wedding photos i.e. the wedding party, just the couple, the family, the extended family, the flower girls, etc. after the ceremony and if there is time some bridals. That is IF the wedding is not running behind schedule and/or the Bridal makeup hasn't been smeared, cried off, wiped off, or sweated off (if it's a hot day) during the ceremony. So for this reason I highly suggest a session just dedicated to the bride or to the couple (if they don't mind seeing one another before the Big day). which rolls onto the next one reason......
3. Less stress for you
I am being 100% serious on this one. It will be less stress because you have already seen yourself in the dress with the makeup on and everything. You don't have to worry about something going wrong or holding back because you want to cry your eyes out because of the tender heart spoken words that your partner wrote for their vows or insert something stressful here. You get my drift.
4. It is a self-empowerment thing
Wedding day jitters and trying to loose weight beforehand....blah it is for the birds in my opinion and what a better way to showcase off YOUR personality and spank then having personalized works of art of you not just any old images of you in your dress, but true works of art. well, and you know feeling sexy and pretty is the best feeling...am I right?
